You know who you are… one day the world will, too.

At 6:06 P.M. one year ago today, you touched down on the soil of your new home, free and independent from the tyranny and suppression you escaped from when the chains of your bondage were broken… forever.

You are home now. Home, in America.

You are my admired one. Always will be. Until I draw my last breath. I’m so proud of you.

You’ve demonstrated unbroken courage, relentless work ethics and unshakable will that I have seldom witness in my long life.

Your talent, your creativity and your literary art is beyond description. I just know in my heart you are the making of something powerfully great. You just have to be patient, practice and persevere. You’ll arrive at your destiny and shine like an eternal flame in the dark. Your light will be a beacon for those lost in darkness to follow. A flashlight that illuminates a path out of darkness. I promise. Just keep working it.

A Chart To Freedom

Your turbulence never ceased, everyday, every hour has been a continued struggle. Your journey has not been without obstacles, tears or broken heart, yet your drive is unswayable, your resolve untamable; and many are the days and hours that are troubling for you, yes, I know, but you are free. FREE! You are independent. You are in America. Your ankles are unshackled. Your chains are broken and no longer are you held in bondage or fear the same as that darkness you escaped from. You are free and independent in a nation that is
free and independent. You are in a world that is not perfect nor pure, and our nation is not without its own dark side, its faults, but we are a people who for the most part will fight to the death for our freedom and independence–and yours, too–and we will fight to the death against those barbarians who you are now free from. That dark corner of the world will never leave your memory, there are fond memories of home and loved ones attached, but it is a distant land and you now have new hope, new opportunity and new rewards. New adventures. New roads to journey down. New mountains to climb. New people to meet and new places to go and new things to do. You are liberated. And there is no greater taste in all the world than the sweet taste of victory and liberating.

Yes, there will be challenges and defeats and trying times ahead that will seem to never end, but the taste of victory is the sweetest thing you shall ever taste, and make it all worth it. Improvise and hold fast and steady to your resolve for you are strong, much stronger than many I know. I know you can do it. Never give up. Never forsake your dream. Never quit. Never cease your strong will. For your character and personality is of such that champions are made of. I know, I used to walk beside them once. Your composition is what makes you great. One day it will all come together for you and you’ll understand what you went through is what you had to in order to be the better person who lived the fullest life, a life worth living. You can do it, now forge on. Be proud.

Freedom Bound

May peace and prosperity be the rewards of your life’s struggles. May you receive every thing you hope and dream for. Know, my precious one, that although you are some times sad, that when things don’t go just right, there is a reason. That reason is because those “things” don’t belong in your life, as much as you want them to be, and they are rejected by the powerful One. They are rejected for a reason, to make room for the better things to come. And they will come. And when they do, you’ll rejoice.
