Only minutes ago, a victorious challenge to patriarchal domination reported. Turkey withdraws child rape bill after street protest. Law would have pardoned men of rape if man was married to underage child. This is a great victory for females of all ages in patriarchy societies of Islam domination and Sharia Law. By no means is this an ultimate victory. We still have a long way to go. It’s only one withdrawn bill that is being sent back into Turkish legislation for further debate. It is the beginning of a long road, a long fight for human rights of females in societies of patriarchy.
Whatever we can do to stop child rape, forced marriage and inhumane treatment of females in patriarchy societies will be considered giants steps to ensure the inalienable rights of females all over the world. Any small victory must be considered a major victory.
We must forge on until every nation on this planet abandons Sharia law that makes females the properties of men. One ought not be enslaved to men just because she was born female. All human beings are born with a birthright, a human right, an inalienable right to freedom and independence just as the rest of us around the world are. The voice for female liberty has been heard. In one small corner of the earth. We must continue to fight until there is no more reason for the voice of female liberty to be heard.
