The Vegas Valley even beat Chicago, New York, LA and some 300 other medium to large cities in the USA for the increase of murders.

Crime is Rising

Spring Is Here in Downtown Las Vegas

It was a warm, spring day today in Downtown Las Vegas as I went out for the first time in a while. I needed to refill my water jugs and stock up on my water supply. I will review the place I go to in one of the upcoming blog posts, but first I will get their permission. I’ve been buying my water off Natalie and her husband, Edgar, for some time now. Their son David often fills my water jugs for me, as he did today. He’s only 12 years old, but he is tall, mature and looks and acts much older.

I originally buy fresh one-gallon jugs of water from a local retail market and then refill them with water from Natalie’s and Edgar’s Mexican ice cream store. They have this huge water filtration plant and purification system at the back of the store and run a nice little family operation that is a pleasure to visit and do business with. They charge less per gallon of fresh, purified and filtered water than from those vending machines that simply tap into the city’s greywater supply that run through simple filters that seldom get changed. I refill eight one gallon containers at a time and since I use a walker that is all I can handle. They can fill any size container but besides the gallon jugs the 5-gallons containers are the most common. I can’t lift those big containers due to medical reasons. Since I push my walker and not lift the contents all at once, I can get away with what I do. I’ll get permission for a review, take some photos, and run a post or two shortly. But today was a good day to be outside. A great day, actually.

I usually stock up on 3-4 weeks of water supply. But I haven’t gotten out much lately due to severe chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia that has kept me bedridden more than functioning. One or the other is a trying dysfunctional condition, the two of them coupled with multiple other neurological disorders that I have including Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Emotional Lability (not liability, but lability) are horrible to endure and places the inflicted in severe pain as well as many other sorry notes. Many with my condition either commit suicide or mass murder. I have never had an inkling to do either. I vent by writing and I hope to teach others, so they learn from the experiences of those who suffer from these horrible neurological disorders. No two people have identical experiences and the medical industry are lost on finding any hope for a cure or reliable treatment for any of the conditions. More than likely doctors misdiagnose or are clueless in what to do.

Anyway, for this post I took a break from using my verbal slingshot at the Cox Family and Elon Musk and all the others. But that won’t last long, I assure you.

It was good to get out today. I left home in a denim jacket that quickly grew warm. Vegas weather is unpredictable. You can lose a lot of jackets and coats by leaving home in a cool or cold morning only to have the sun rise and warm things up, so you take your coat off and leave it someplace it won’t be there when you go back after you remember you forgot it. I am enjoying this weather. It will be getting unbearably hot soon in the Vegas Valley.

Before I went to Natalie’s and Edgar’s I went to the Dollar Tree. I’m disappointed in that store which is often a good place to shop but sometimes trying. There is a huge turnover of employees and managers. Today was a whole new crew. Even my favorite people were gone. Many shelves were bare. This store is up and down on keeping things in stock.

Well, don’t tell anybody because I’m not supposed to have any, but when I went to Natalie’s and Edgar’s, I treated myself to an ice cream sandwich and boy was it good! What a lifestyle, huh?

Spring is here and one has to bring spring in with a little bit of self-celebration. Now, it is time for spring cleaning, ugh.

Changing the world, one step at a time.
