Stimulus Check Round Three
Posted: 07/03/2021 Filed under: News, Opinion | Tags: Politics, Stimulus Checks, Writer, Writing Leave a commentAccording to most news sources our next stimulus check is all but in the mail. Of course, we cannot trust anything the politicians or the news reporters say anymore, but we will give them a beggars chance.

The Senate passed their version of the bill after the $15-an-hour federal minimum wage increase the House and some in the Senate had demanded was removed from the bill.
The bill now goes back to the House and they; the Squealers of the D.C. Animal Farm claim the House will likely pass the bill with the Senate- removed $15 wage argument.
That remains to be seen, as the House could stand and fight for it.
Pelosi, a demonic individual, has never been too bright and she has never demonstrated any trustworthy leadership, so do not count on anything positive.
BUT IF THE HOUSE PASSES THE BILL AS IT IS AND DOESN’T SCREW AROUND AND WASTE MORE TIME WITH RETARDED COUNTER MEASURES, LIKE THE DEMONIC PELOSI HAS BEEN FAMOUS FOR, THE BILL GOES TO BIDEN AND HE SAYS HE WILL SIGN IT.
All this haggling is still marginally close with but one or two votes away from being defeated.
Anything can still happen. Anything is possible.
Do not bank on your stimulus check until the money is in your hands. Especially with these characters in Washington.
Had the powers that be done what President Trump suggested MONTHS AGO and created a standalone stimulus check bill we would have been paid MONTHS AGO, but the dirty politicians that need to be tarred and feathered and run out of Washington like Republican Mitch McConnell and Liberal Nancy Pelosi and busloads of others never had the American people in mind—and still do not.
But let us move on and see what the so-called “experts” say about what you should do and should not do with your stimulus money.
According to the Washington Squealers of D.C. Animal Farm it is likely the House will pass the bill and then it goes to Biden’s desk to get signed into law.
If the IRS keeps its word on what it has been saying, that is, that once the bill is signed into law it should take only a week to start sending out the millions of checks beginning with the direct deposit accounts, they used in the previous stimulus check payments.
Thus, for many Americans, a timeframe of around or about the 22nd of March 2021 the third round of stimulus checks could be in your bank. “Could” is a genuinely visionary word because of the D.C. Animal Farm characters playing control over the people who are supposed to be controlling them but do not.
EXPERTS, OR SO THEY ARE CALLED, TELL YOU THAT PAYING OFF CREDIT CARDS DO NOT STIMULATE THE ECONOMY. THE “EXPERTS” ARE WRONG. THEY USUALLY ARE WRONG. PAYING OFF CREDIT CARD DEBT DOES A NUMBER OF THINGS TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY.
We will only mention two reasons of many possibilities here that say the experts are wrong.
What happens when you pay off your credit cards or pay it down?
First, it reduces your interest payments.
That means you have more spendable money at your disposal. Rather you save it or spend it or a little of both multiplied by millions of people it can be a sizable sum that will indeed stimulate the economy.
Reducing your interest payments frees your money for other uses for purchases or savings which the so-called experts claim is bad too.
It also provides more available credit which if you should go against the grain of good financial management by paying off credit cards, and leaving them paid off or paid down, instead of reusing, then you do what?
You stimulate the economy by spending.
Yup.
That is not bad.
It is not bad because that is doing what a stimulus bill is supposed to do, stimulate the economy. But dumbass politicians ALWAYS manage to screw things up. They screw it up because of their long delays in getting the economy stimulated because they know NOTHING about the economy, business, management, or anything else other than how to waste the people’s money on BS investigations which yield nothing but wasted time.
Sigh. SIGH!
Savings is not bad either. Savings puts you on tract for advancing your financial condition, strength, and your overall wealth.
It saves you from falling into the trap of being dependent upon others, such as the government for support because you fall into the poverty and helpless range. A trap that once you are caught in is exceedingly difficult to escape.
If you spend the money you save in interest and banking fees does not that stimulate the economy? Of course, it does.
That could be hundreds maybe even thousands of dollars per year, you save by paying off big credit card debt. You could then get lower interest loans if needed. And that stimulates the economy.
If having a savings keeps you from spending money or borrowing for emergencies that are outside of your reach does not that stimulate the economy because it avoids a negative drain which is debt which is not a stimulant but a sedative to your economic health. Of course, it does, but do not look to expert to agree because usually they do not know much.
There are lots more reasons we could list, but we are only going to do two today. The first one above and the second one that follows:
Second, what does the experts think the banks will do with the money you pay off your debt with, sit on it? Hardly.
Banks will do what banks do. They will use the money to grow their own wealth and stimulate their own economy. They will in turn provide that money for loans for other people. They will be collecting interest on payments and that, collectively, will be providing work for lots of people in the bank and in the companies that apply for and receive the loans.
And, for the individuals who takes that loan money to do whatever they will do with their loan, usually spending it to buy something which brings us back to stimulating the economy. Also, paying off the credit card debts, they could get a reduced interest loan to replace the higher monthly costs of their finances, as mentioned.
Simple math. Simple business. Complicated by ignorant politicians.
Local or distance companies getting bank loans, as well as individuals, are going to take the money for spending it while it creates economic stimulus for many people. That is what it is supposed to do. A genuine no brainer. A no brainer the “experts” have never been able to figure out just as the politicians have not.
With all of this money changing hands, taxes are paid, all kinds of taxes from sales taxes to property taxes and income taxes, and so forth. You get the point.
Moral of the story?
Stop listening to experts.
They are usually wrong. They are more wrong than right most of the time.
Pay off your debt and stay debt-free as much as you can.
And give up having any sort of faith in politicians. They are a brain-dead bunch of demonic corpses decaying in pungent environments at our cost and livelihood.
End of story.

The American Bald Eagle is our guardian of Freedom & Independence ~Sunrise Mountain Publishing.com
What we are learning during this presidential race is the evil power of the powers that be. It is a magnificent, demonic power gone wild. The Republican elites. The Democrat elites. Globalist elite. The media elites. The elitist billionaires and millionaire that drive super PACs. The elite leaders of foreign governments, religions and powers that intimidate and interfere with our domestic affairs. We the people, must destroy those elites. They are the enemy of the people. The establishment. A corrupt establishment. They are our SLAVEMASTERS! We must break the chains of our bondage and free ourselves from the slavemasters. We the people in a free nation shall govern ourselves in a Republic of our own chosen representatives. We the people of a free world shall not be intimidated by powers overseas, be they friend or foe, or by foreign or domestic governments, terrorist groups, media, political parties, political action committees, leaders of others, including religious leaders, that are all subordinate to our power in this conquest to our free and inalienable right to choose our own leaders. America is not ruled by tyranny or dictatorship nor will she ever be. There is no power greater than our power, the power of WE THE PEOPLE. We the people of the United States of America. We will prevail in installing our own chosen president of these here United States and her territories without intimidation, coercion, psychological pressure or influence, force or propaganda. We shall not tolerate any interference whatsoever into our domestic affairs by any power or any source. We shall hold strictly responsible any party who so offends our inalienable rights. We the people of the United States of America shall govern ourselves as our Constitution permits us to do, and as our forefathers willed us to do, and our Creator endows us to do. There is no power on this earth, domestic or foreign, that can take our right to self government away from us. We shall defend that right at any and all cost no matter who the offending power is. We shall fully settle upon the shoulders of our offenders, like an American Eagle does upon her prey, when the time of reckoning comes and it will come. ~We The People Have Spoken
The Shame of American Leadership… or the lack thereof
Posted: 24/08/2014 Filed under: Commentary, Opinion, Political Commentary, Uncategorized, World | Tags: Article, Articles, Blogs, Cliff Harrison, ISIS, Leadership, Middle East, Radical Islam, Terrorists, Writing 1 CommentObama’s indecision concerning the ISIS invasion of Iraq will go down in history as one of the most costly humanitarian errors ever launched by a U.S. president. Lost will be lives, dollars, and consciences. When the world’s safety rides on one man’s decision or indecision, something is wrong. Dead wrong. It’s immoral and unjust. Two things that are anti-American. It strips the very core of what America stands for.
Two months ago, in June of 2014, when ISIS, the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) or also called; the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), and also called Daesh by locals, a name the terrorists hate, invaded Iraq from Syria, and started massacring innocent people, American leadership should have instantly started mobilizing our intelligence and military forces. Supercarrier strike groups (CSG) with full forces of the 5th and 6th Fleet, should have been in both the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean Sea, respectively–ready to engage. Aircraft from those fleets should have been deployed to stop ISIS immediately. Two months ago! I had stated, in social network media, we should have exterminated the ISIS barbarians when they moved from Mosul. They traveled through the desert south to their next planned attack. They never stopped. We never engaged. That cost lives. Many lives. Women and children became sex slaves and house slaves for a barbaric subhuman culture. America let it happen. The world stood silent. The screams were loud but the ears never heard them. That is, not until one day a journalist who escaped once from the barbarians returned, this time he was not so lucky and James Foley was beheaded. Then, and only then did America wake up. It still has one eye closed. That one eye may never fully open. We’ll see….
“Obama, if you weren’t such a slow thinker, we could have cut these demons down in the middle of the desert a hundred miles from any civilian.” –Cliff Harrison, 17 June 2014
https://twitter.com/CliffHarrison/status/478817126300794880
We could have caught the ISIS boy scouts in the middle of the Iraqi desert and used cluster bombs to decorate them like Christmas trees with extra red and sent those demons off to meet their imaginary virgins and imaginary god. Not a single Iraqi citizen would have been lost. Not an innocent one, anyway. Not a single citizen would have perished, but every single one of the invaders would have been slaughtered in a dignified manner befitting for barbarians from the Dark Ages. They could have been, as they need to be, exterminated.
The lack of leadership in this country and around the globe caused that missed opportunity to prevail while tens of thousands of innocent souls, and some not so innocent, continued to lose their lives after a trillion U.S. dollars spent, thousands of U.S. military personnel killed, wounded or left with lifetime battle scars that never leave the mind and a coward Iraqi army left peeing their pants, repenting–or so they thought they were–and taking a few bullets in the head. But no, the Big Shot in the White House stayed the course with indecision, failure to listen to his key advisers and went golfing to pleasure his mind.
People died. People cried. People had every humanitarian and humanity violation waged against them while the powers that be in Washington D.C. either slept like babies or vacationed.
I also said in June that we should have maneuvered the Sixth Fleet into the Mediterranean Sea with the Fifth Fleet in the Persian Gulf to be in the ready to protect Lebanon and Turkey from ISIS spillover from Syria and Iraq. At the same time conflict again arose between Palestine and Israel. The Middle East was going to call America back to war rather or not we wanted to go. Every time we wait, something greater consumes us. That is the case now with the ISIS butchers from hell.
The current class of American politicians is the weakest leaders in our history. They are the doom of us and the world.
When the ISIS crossed from Mosul into the desert, the American leadership could have stopped them dead in their tracks–as stated, not a single Iraqi would have died. The 1st Cavalry Division and Special Forces, Special Operations Forces and the Joint Special Operation Forces could have done their respective jobs and retaken Mosul and secured Iraq and that would have been the end of it. The United States of America could have liberated the oppressed people there once more, burned the black flag with the barbarian stamp and left the worms and vultures with something to eat and terrorists the world over would fear Americans. They’d be on the run hiding, if any survived, rather than terrorizing women and children. They’d crawl back into the hole from hell that they crawled out of… that is if America had leaders. But it doesn’t and they didn’t. Instead, they grew. And they took our weapons that we left behind and they slaughtered more innocent people with them and ruined centuries-old churches in the process destroyed homes and families and ruined young lives.
America could have stood proudly instead of in shame. America does not need to engage in prolonged political wars that politicians seem to admire so. We need to employ surgical operations when the call to duty arises. That is well-planned, well-executed military operations that meet our objectives without early warning to those we intend to strike as is the habit of the current breed of misfit politicians and military leaders. We don’t need to camp out on the world’s doorsteps; we need to go in with the right task force, solve the conflict and get out before they know what hit them. Period!
Crisis like the ISIS escalation is not really America’s problem or responsibility. The responsibility belongs to the United Nations, not the United States. But the U.N. is largely dysfunctional and incapable of coordinating anything significant so the U.S. bears the burden to do the U.N.’s job–as it always has–for the world’s safety. The U.N. needs to be restructured so it can be an effective fighting force the U.S. is, only with a global collation. The power needs to be distributed more balanced and even across all nation members. More human rights and humanitarian laws listed and enforced, the worldwide abolishing of patriarchal societies and Sharia law that suppresses females in Muslim countries. We cannot tolerate such Dark Age, barbarianism against the world’s females that so-called religious extremist and even Islam moderates encourage and condone. We must route out of our civilized society any nation that supports suppressing women on anything less than an equal rights standing in all avenues of life, and those nations that fail to severely punish their citizens for violations of human rights against women.
We are a global economy, we need global laws to govern and global military enforcement. We need world armies, not U.S. armies solving world problems. Militaries made up of world troops going into nations of conflict and solving global problems at hand and then getting out to leave the nation sovereign. But that possibility appears to be a long way off. With our current population of politicians, it seems to be a long way off. In the meantime, we need to stop any sort of terrorism no matter where it is on this planet and stop the gross abuse and violation of the world’s women and children by subspecies of barbarians.
5 Things We Can Do to Win the War Against the ISIS and Any Other Terrorist Organization.
1.) Escalate our military defense system to DEFCON 1 or at least DEFCON 2 without hesitation. Remain at that defense level until all threats are neutralized and our southern borders are sealed.
2.) Order all social media networks globally to refrain from posting, publishing or communicating any terrorist-linked organization, group or individual including but not exclusive to; YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Blogs and Message Boards, Cell Phones, Wireless and Cable Communications and any other forms of communications from terrorist groups either between themselves or to the world showing their content. We need to stop ISIS and any other terrorist groups and users from communicating their ideology, images, text, chats, victories, and messages. Hold all such services responsible for violation of this order.
3.) Stop all cell phone, radio, and TV sources from transmitting ISIS and terrorist communications.
4.) Identify all suppliers and funding sources of the ISIS and terrorist groups and then place them on notice to stop all such activities and surrender all information on the terrorist groups or face attacks from the United States military, The United Nations members and/or global collations such as NATO. Do not delay the engagement of such attacks on behalf of the world citizens. Immediately shutdown all activities of such nations favoring terrorist activities through funding and supplies, no matter what nation it is. Any and all such funding and suppliers to the ISIS by any such nation shall be considered an enemy of the United States of America and the world and handled accordingly.
5.) Install GPS/satellite technology tracking and vehicle-immobilization systems frequently used in the automobile industry to disable vehicles of consumers delinquent on their car loans on military equipment that may be left behind during withdrawal from war zones. This would allow U.S. military to locate and destroy such vehicles or weapons and/or to disable them remotely.

YOU CAN SEE IT IN HIS EYES

Be it here in America or abroad, censorship of literature is pure communism and a deterrent to quality education. Where do they find idiots like Gove to hold power over the suppressed students of our world?
Banning books does but one thing, it narrows minds and reduces opportunity for a student to reach his or her fullest potential.
Hitler burned books. Stalin burned books. Book burners and censors are the demons of education and shall not be tolerated. ZERO TOLERANCE FOR BOOK CENSORSHIP! Say it.
A free world depends upon free minds. Communication and education depends upon the mind of the writer being transformed to the reader regardless of what generation or century either lived. A book on a library’s shelf or in a school curriculum is not an endorsement for such book, it is an opportunity to explore another opinion of another mind in another spectrum of history and life.
The banning of books prevent a person in growing into someone their potential allows and that someone may be in a free society or a suppressed one. When in a free society, books are banned, that free person, especially students and young adults, no longer remain free and have but one cloud over their head and it’s a dark one, indeed–SUPPRESSION OF THE MIND.
Education Secretary Michael Gove, I challenge you to reverse your decision and allow the children and students of our world grow with brilliant minds and not clouded ones of closed ideology.
The Future of Vegas
Posted: 27/04/2014 Filed under: Opinion | Tags: Blogs, Casinos, Cliff Harrison, Cosmo, Cosmopolitan, Gambling, Las Vegas, Photography, The Future of Vegas, The struggles of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Travel, Writing Leave a commentThe struggles of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas could give a glimpse of the future of Vegas. It was much easier to unload an unprofitable casino back when casinos were only valued in the multimillion dollar range. There were far more eligible buyers. There were far more opportunities to the seller. The Cosmopolitan is playing roulette and it has all its bets on just one number.
Now that casinos in Vegas are in the multi-billion dollar class when they get in trouble it will be much harder to find willing buyers brave enough to part with their money on losing casinos. The Cosmopolitan has never done well. It’s never made money. The Cosmo is a loser–for six years out of six years in business, it’s been losing. From day one it never turned a profit. It was a foreclosed property with the original developer going south and then the bankers took over and completed the project.
When you run a casino that big you better have experience running big casinos, because the competition around you does have that kind of experience. Usually, when a casino magnate has billions of dollars to invest, he’ll build his own casino rather than inherit someone else’s problems, unless of course he tears one down and builds a new one.
To risk nearly your entire net worth on a casino doesn’t seem likely nor make much economical sense. It’s not a wise investment. It’s like putting your entire bankroll on a single game and a single bet. Even the dumbest gambler isn’t that stupid. Billionaires don’t become billionaires by making stupid moves, they become billionaires by making brilliant moves and buying low and selling high and managing right. They are winners. There is a reason they are winners. It’s not because they make bad investments that can wipe them out. With a 4 billion-dollar value/price tag on the Cosmopolitan, Australian billionaire James Parker is only worth a little more than a couple billion more, 6.5 billion dollars to be exact. Too much leverage and putting too much into gambling and hoping could spell doom for any future owner.
The Cosmopolitan won’t clear 4 billion or even half that. If Deutsche Bank gets anywhere between 1 billion and 2 billion for the Cosmo, they’d better take their money and run, and fast. When you lose your money, learn to lose.
At stake is the future of Vegas itself and if one compares the performance of the last decade, there is nothing there to brag about–or invest in. Vegas has been a loser. Nothing indicates that is going to change except piss in the wind. Big casinos spell big trouble when things go south. The era of the multimillion-dollar casinos were much easier to handle in the day of gloom and bust than the big billion dollar casinos which are not too big to fail. Despite what some sources claim, the Vegas valley has never fully recovered from the Great Recession.
During the 20-year boom, Las Vegas was the fastest growing city in American. People won more often, were comped more and had more fun. People came back to Vegas more frequently. Slot and video machines were looser and table games were easier to win on and when you won you won more. The current management of Vegas casinos took all the fun away from the world’s number one gaming mecca. And in the end, they, and not the people who play here, will pay for it.
If Vegas returns to a recession as some indicators point to the idea that it will, or at least might, then big casinos will be extremely hard to unload, much harder than the multimillion dollar casinos were that preceded them. There comes a time when those of us who preferred the Old Vegas, and the way things were, can wink and say, “The old way was better for everybody.” The bigger the chips, the harder they fall. The bigger the chips, the louder they fall, too.
I have a feeling there are going to be some very hard and loud falls coming to the future of Las Vegas.
When those too big to fail corporations lose, there is going to be a lot of noise.

Is the Most Catastrophic Terror Attack in History About to Occur?
Posted: 22/03/2014 Filed under: Opinion | Tags: Aircraft, Blogs, Commentary, Flight MH370, Media, Missing Radioactive Material, Terrorism, Thoughts, Writing Leave a commentLAS VEGAS (Vegas Valley)–Two missing things may reappear with disastrous results: Flight MH370 and large amounts of stolen and missing radioactive material. No one has a clue where either are. I just gave you a clue where they possibly could be. I hope I am wrong and I pray the world never realizes the ultimate possibilities that are out there in the darkness of terrorism. But in today’s world I’m probably more right than wrong, unfortunately.
When flight MH370 went missing I had announced that I refused to speculate what happened to the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200ER passenger jet out of respect for the families who are yet experiencing traumatic suffering. For them there has been no repose. When Flight MH370 went dark from the midnight skies over the Indian Ocean, taking 239 passengers and crew members, the lives of their family and loved ones went dark too. However, during the past two weeks I listened to countless and endless news media coverage of the tragic event and can only shake my head in disgust with the American and the world news media.
The last time I expressed such shock was when I sat in my late stepfather’s home watching the evening news about the downed F-117A Nighthawk stealth fighter by Serbian forces using a Soviet-made SA-3 Goa surface-to-air missile (SAM) on 27 March in the 1999 Serbia-Kosovo War. The news media reported the pilot was sending a distress signal that would help the efforts of NATO’s search and rescue mission recover the pilot. My stepfather and I looked at one another in shock and outrage that news media did in fact reveal the precise location of the shot-down pilot, telling the world where the signal was coming from. My stepfather, a 26-year front line combat veteran understood what happens when the enemy recovered American airmen and soldiers before the U.S. military (or NATO) did.
During the last two weeks every news channel under the sun has had a spectacle show about the vanishing of Flight MH370. 24 hours a day so-called experts sit and tell their fantasy wish what they believe happened to the aircraft that mysteriously disappeared. In one news segment reports claim the plane went 1500 miles East and another report it was said MH370 went the same distance West and then it went North and then it went South all on five hours of remaining fuel. The truth of the matter is, nobody knows where MH370 went and for two weeks nothing but hen-house gossip has filled the airwaves of every major newsroom.
The drama continues to unfold as one so-called (nutcase) expert after another reveals vivid detail of the aircraft’s functionality and its equipment along with radar and cell phone capabilities and disadvantages, the weaknesses and strength of various nation’s defense, radar, tracking and communications systems.
There’s a new player at the table, his name is Terrorism.

Fifth one this week. They keep trying to shove that McAfee BS on me. I already have it. Can’t their pink hairs figure that out yet?
Chrome wants to update. No, Chrome forces an update.
Microsoft updates again. And again. And again.
Terms of use are shoved into your face, via the screen. The screen man. Screen madness.
Google updates. No, I got rid of the Google search engine, too much BS and tracking. Too many changes. So I replaced Google with Duck Duck Go, and they update, too.
I get stood up on my updates, every time.
Gmail updates.
Tech company after social media company after whatever WTF company updates and forces or requests an update. Oh, yeah, let’s not forget WordPress and Blogger and Flogger and YouTube and PooTube.
Update and Update and Update.
And more NOT RESPONDING. NOT RESPONDING. NOT RESPONDING AND THE LITTLE BLUE WHEEL SYNDROME. AGAIN!
Often those updates are not fixing bugs or just fixing bugs, they are completely and in my opinion, fraudulently changing your computer or the software you bought and paid for. Or software you use by being forced to watch ads thereby which is the same as paying for it.
Imaginary Friend: (I hear his voice.) “Me neither!”
Me: “Shut UP!”
Imaginary Friend: “K.”
Tons of legal garbage to hogtie you with and force fornicate you to comply or else. If you don’t read it you may later be sorry. Very sorry. If you do read it you will fall asleep and completely forget whatever you were doing before the delivery of megatons of legal notices that surrender your rights, nearly all of them.
Wonder why I often call these turds communists?
Because they force you to do things you really don’t want to do rather than giving you an extended time frame to comply and explicit choice to volunteer. Force. They FORCE YOU. Like Mao. Like Kim Jung. Like Castro. Like Stalin. Yeah, those kinds of communists. Well maybe they aren’t that bad, BUT!!!
Tired of the PC running so slow after one of these updates? Or boatloads of updates?
Imaginary Friend: (I hear his voice, again.) “Maybe you have a hacker intruding upon your computer.”
Me: “Nope, we already checked that. You should have known that. And you know, how we completely delete and erase the hacker’s database if they get caught hacking us. The hard drive is gone. Right? Ya saw that done, right?”
Imaginary Friend: (Chuckling) “Funnier than the Benny Hill Show!”
Me: “Yup, now, shhhhh!”
Imaginary Friend: “K.”
These updates are often NOT compatible with each other. One tech company messes up the masterminds of another tech company, (sometimes on purpose… well maybe more than sometimes,) but Silicone Valley is not in a chaos of local revolts and neighborhood wars. They dine together for Christ sakes. But they blame YOU and try to weasel out of blame of themselves as they try to convince you that your computer runs slow because you installed or downloaded another app, software or something else they could blame. Maybe you visited a bad website.
Nope, that sh#t doesn’t work anymore. Been there, done that. Old story. Broken BS.
Imaginary Friend: “Suckered once, fool you. Suckered twice fool me. Huh?”
Me: “Yut.”
Imaginary Friend: “Been farmin’ long?”
Me: “SHUT UP!”
Imaginary Friend: “K.”
NO, I DID NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING NEW ON MY COMPUTER! The only download was your freaking UPDATE. SCREAM!
Imaginary Friend: (Louder) SCREAM!
Me: “Shhhh!”
Imaginary Friend: “K.”
Sigh, and just when I was going to write that masterpiece that would earn me the Nobel Peace Prize and a bunch of other awards from the candy store, here comes the update notice reading; UPDATING, PLEASE WAIT. GO TAKE A LUNCH BREAK. HAVE A BEER. GET LOST. And then followed by, NOT RESPONDING followed by here comes that little pisser of a spinning blue wheel.
I have Little Blue Wheel Syndrome to add to my list of illnesses.
Me: Do they have a disability for that?
Imaginary Friend: “Nope. Does not qualify.”
Me: Sigh! SIGH!
Not Responding. Psst… pink hairs why are you still in your mama’s basement? Trump is herr according to Parlor. This is the 21st Century. Get on the ball. You should make things better, not worst. You should make things easier, not harder. Life 101.
When all these tech companies decide they will UPGRADE your computer (at the same time no less) rather you like it or not and force you–WITHOUT YOUR ATTORNEY PRESENT–into agreements that will take Elizabeth Warren and Perry Mason decades to learn about, to figure out and defend against, let’s look at why sh#t goes into NOT RESPONDING mode.
(Forget the hackers, the downloading of software or apps or viruses or malware, [which can sometimes or even frequently be the problem,] it’s all in the updates. Incompatible updates.)
All these tech pink hairs which certainly graduated in the bottom feeder half of their class decide because their bottom-feeding boss tells them to make a change… (often to spy or eavesdrop on the victim user) you know HOPE with red and blue and shades thereof. And poof, they update. And busloads of pink hairs from a busload of tech companies do the same. You know we all copy each other because nobody has a brain between their ears for anything other than dull space. There is little or no unique ability anymore.
Bingo, all these upgrades to all these apps and software, and even hardware are not compatible with each other. Not that the pink hairs care or even do their freeloading masters, but just the same you are stuck with that little pisser of a blue wheel spinning and spinning and spinning. YOU MUST pause to wonder if that little pisser of a spinning blue wheel is powered by the Energizer battery or related to the Energizer bunny. I mean, there is evidence of the color pink in the genetics of their DNA, is there not?
Imaginary Friend: “LMFAO!”
Me: “SHHHHH!”
Imaginary Friend: “Why don’t they make that little spinning wheel pink?”
Me: “You finally said something intelligent.”
Imaginary Friend: “Can we call it Pink Hair Syndrome now?”
Me: “Hold that thought.”
Imaginary Friend: “K.”
(Imaginary Friend recites Congressional rehearsal:) “Whereas, WE THE PEOPLE, cast to the Dark Forest those individuals that ruin our day, or night.” (We can only HOPE.)
Me: “I think you are on to something.”
Imaginary Friend: “Me,too.”
Now, what was I going to write about in my Dark Forest novel that has been a work-in-progress for years and years?
I forgot. That little pisser of a blue wheel sucked up all my energy and frustration.
Alas.
Imaginary Friend: “Maybe you should ask Ian Morgan, he knows everything.”
Me: “K.”
